To Dr McCready, I remember the very first day l came to your rooms: the good Dr you being a man of few words just said that l will recover. How then l doubted l will be back to my pre-AVN state! Those where the dark days: pain can be incapacitating, nothing can explain.

I am truly grateful Dr McCready for your expertise, your time and your capable care. I am happy to let you know its now 7 weeks since l turned a curve on my second THP, walked clutchesfree and never looked back. Now l am back at work full-time plus doing everything else l never thought l will do again. But l know you are saying , "l told you so! Well indeed the surgeries worked for me.

I know this was a team effort : Dr Muller the ever cheerful anesthetist, he brought sunshine to a gloomy theatre day (always put a smile with never ending jokes). Please tell him his concoction took the pain away, it works. To your amazing associate orthosurgeon Dr Garcez; always there to answer and explain post op questions. A lady full of sunshine, operations can never be that bad with such a person. Please let them know that "AGAIN - guy" from Zimbabwe is deeply grateful to the team.

To Julie and Kyla from JKS physiotherapist: well "No pain no gain" : you taught me and made me believe l can walk again! To Kayla now l can go holidaying with my family, please share that catalogue!

To Irene; patient liaison par excellence!. Thank you for looking after my wellbeing in and out of the hospital. It wouldn't have been easy without your guidance. Your service is on point, topnotch.

The pain wasn't in vain! The nurses in the orthopedic ward, wish l could give them a hug; they did took great care of me. And took me past the worst.

To Steve, thank you for taking a chance on me. I met the above excellent team because you made it possible. I am now on my 2 feet because of your generosity. May you be blessed in abundance.
